Saundra McKee
I am 61 years old and have lived in western Pennsylvania most of my life. I have a B.S. and MEd. degree in social studies from Indiana University of PA and a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. I taught grades 7-12 for 15 years and at the university level for 22 years. I'm a former president of the PA Council for the Social Studies. I co-edited our state's social studies journal for a few years. As an educator, I published numerous articles on various aspects of teaching social studies. I also published teacher's manuals, workbooks, activity books, test books and case studies for major publishers. Since retiring in 2008, I have been writing fiction (mostly mysteries) and self publishing ebooks under Sandy and Saundra McKee. I'm also trained as a Certified Lay Speaker and Lay Minister in the United Methodist Church and like to speak and write on spiritual topics. One of my greatest passions is travel and I love to write about adventures in the U.S. , Canada and abroad.
